"Decent for regular Air Mauritius flyers"
I mostly use airmauritius to book trips and keep an eye on my Kestrelflyer miles. The points don’t always show up right away, which makes me wonder a bit about how reliable the system is, but they have appeared eventually in my case. I did get extra baggage once and a small discount on an upgrade, so joining has been worth it overall. The website can be slow at times and doesn’t always feel super polished, but it does the job if you fly with them regularly.

"Too frustrating to book"
Tried booking on airmauritius. it was a pain. Pages were super slow, some buttons didn’t work, and I had to type my details again more than once. The payment page was confusing too. Maybe it was my browser, but buying a ticket shouldn’t be this hard. I gave up.

"Got my refund eventually"
I had to wait a bit longer than I wanted, but I did finally get my refund. It was kind of annoying at first, but since the money came back in the end, I guess it worked out fine. Not the fastest experience, but not the worst either.

"Pretty Smooth Transit Overall"
I had a transit with Air Mauritius and it went mostly smoothly. I was a bit tired and not in the most patient mood at the time, so the waiting felt longer than it probably was. The staff were helpful when I asked where to go, and the signs were clear enough. Apart from the slightly long wait, I didn’t have any real issues.

"Boarding was way more chaotic than it needed to be"
Boarding felt messy and took forever. No one seemed to know where the line was supposed to start, and people kept forming these little clumps near the gate instead of an actual queue. I remember staring at the tiny sign by the boarding lane because it didn’t match what the staff were saying, which just made it more confusing. I used the online check-in on airmauritius.com it was straightforward. It only took a few minutes, and picking a seat was clear enough. One page loaded a bit slowly, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, it did what it was supposed to do, and I appreciate when basic things like this work without making travel more stressful for people.

"Veggie meal mix-up made the flight frustrating"
I had ordered a veggie meal ahead of time because I don’t eat meat, and I even remember double-checking it while booking since I’ve had this happen once before on another trip. When the meal service came around, nothing was sorted for me, and the crew didn’t really seem bothered about it. They basically just shrugged it off, which was frustrating, especially on a flight where you’re stuck there with limited options. Not the end of the world, but it definitely made the whole trip more annoying than it needed to be.

"My seatback screen kept freezing over and over…"
My seatback screen kept freezing over and over, so I basically had no entertainment for the entire flight. It was frustrating, especially on a longer stretch when I was hoping to just watch a movie and zone out. Weirdly, I still remember the screen got stuck on the same loading circle right when they handed out pretzels, which somehow made it even more annoying.

I booked through airmauritius and, unless I somehow missed something, the baggage allowance was clear before I paid. I kept second-guessing whether I’d have enough kilos for my trip, but it turned out to be fine and there were no surprises at check-in. it made packing a lot less stressful.

"Disappointing lounge experience"
I used the Air Mauritius lounge before my flight it was a letdown. There wasn’t much food left, the drinks were basic, and the tables took way too long to get cleaned. It also felt like things were being handled a bit carelessly overall, like no one was really keeping an eye on the place or bothering to tidy up properly. The staff were okay, but they seemed busy and not very interested. It was crowded too, so it didn’t feel relaxing at all. For the ticket class and what I expected, it really should have been better. The flight itself was fine, but the lounge experience was disappointing...

"Decent Drinks, Just a Bit Slow"
I flew with Air Mauritius recently, and the drink service was average overall. They had the usual stuff like water, juice, and soft drinks, but it felt like forever before the cart finally made it to our row. The crew were polite, just seemed a little rushed and not really checking in much between rounds. Weirdly, I still remember the tiny pineapple juice carton because it had this bright yellow straw that kept bending every time I tried to use it. For a longer flight, it would’ve been nice if they came around more often. Not a bad experience, but not especially memorable either.

The flight itself was fine, I guess, but the legroom felt a bit cramped, especially during the longer stretch. It definitely wasn’t the worst I’ve experienced, but I kind of expected a little more room. Not a huge issue, but it could probably be better.

So, the seat comfort was kind of just average on my flight. Like, it wasn’t terrible or anything, but after a few hours it did start to feel a bit tight, you know? The padding could definitely be better, honestly. Overall, though, it was fine for a short trip

"Decent flight, frustrating baggage experience"
The flight itself was fine, nothing really to complain about there. But the baggage situation was bad. My suitcase came out almost at the very end, and when I finally got it, one of the wheels was cracked. I went to the desk, but the staff didn’t seem very interested and just told me to fill out a form. What made it more annoying is that I never got any follow-up after that. Not the worst travel experience I’ve had, but after a long trip, it was really frustrating

"Pretty Good On Time Flights"
I flew with Air Mauritius last month both flights were pretty much On time. Boarding was a little slow at first, but we still got out close to schedule, which was the main thing I cared about. We arrived on time too, maybe even a few minutes Early on the way back. Service wasn’t perfect or anything, but punctuality-wise I was Happy. I’d give it 4 stars.

I reached out expecting some actual support, but the so-called support team got back to me late and didn’t really do much to help. Disappointing overall.
